
Dr. Wang has extensive experience in energy and power industry.
He has been a lecturer, visiting scholar, research associate, and chemical engineer in Southeast University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Pennsylvania State University, and FuelCell Energy Inc, respectively. Since 2005, he became a professional consultant in energy sector. His work focuses on energy savings and emissions reduction at a system level for coal utilization including energy management, energy system integration, coal gasification, coking, power generation, clean coal technology, distributed energy systems, IGCC, industrial heating, coal bed/mine methane, and fuel cells.
He has published over 20 peer reviewed papers and patents. He is also a recipient of the second grade award of Science and Technology by Ministry of Education of China.
Dr. Wang received his bachelor and master’s degrees from Tianjin University in 1990 and 1993, and his Ph. D. from Southeast University in 1996, respectively; all in the thermal engineering course.
